Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions are valid for all Signature Rides tours, and are subject to change. The most current terms and conditions at the time of your ride will apply. By using any part of our website or sharing your personal information with us, you are accepting and consenting to the practices described in our Privacy Policy. On payment of a tour, you agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions.

Booking

To reserve a ride, Signature Rides requires the full payment of the tour.

Payment Methods

Payment must be in EUR, and can be made by debit or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, or American Express), or transfer. We do not accept cash. A €50 service fee will be added to each booking if you choose to refund a payment and recharge a different credit card.

Pricing

Personalised itineraries

Each of our cycling tours is custom-made to match your interests, fitness level, and schedule. After consulting with you, we will provide a proposed itinerary and quote based on factors such as group size, season, add-on experiences, transportation, bike hire, and special requests.

Price estimates

Pricing for each tour is flexible and determined by the factors outlined above. All estimates provided are valid for 10 days. Full payment is required to secure your booking.

A given price quote is valid for 10 days. After 10 days, quotes are subject to repricing. All prices and quotes are subject to verification by Signature Rides' staff.

Cancellation Policies

The cancellation policies outlined below take into consideration the costs Signature Rides incurs before your tour.

To avoid cancellation costs, please consider adding your own private Travel Protection insurance.

• Upon booking payment in full in required

• A minimum of 72 hrs notice (prior to meeting time) is required in order to receive a 75% refund

• Reservations are non-refundable within 72 hours of the meeting time

• Alternately, you may request a full credit Gift Card towards a future rescheduled booking

• If we have to cancel a scheduled tour due to weather, safety concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances, clients will have the option to reschedule for another available date or receive a full refund minus the service fee of 10%

Cyclist Code

By paying for the tour, you agree to the following Cyclist Code:

• I have chosen a tour that suits my abilities, level of fitness, and state of health

• I do not have any physical conditions or disabilities that are a hazard to me or other cyclists

• I understand the weather is out of Signature Rides’ control

• I understand a road less traveled means that access to medical facilities and evacuation services may be limited

• I will always wear a helmet when riding

• I will not wear headphones when riding

• I will consume alcohol responsibly

• I will not use my cell phone while riding a bike

• I will be responsible for using bright lights and wearing reflective clothing if the weather conditions require it

• I will be responsible for maintaning my bike in porper riding conditions

• I will be responsible for all and any damages made to my bike or my rental bike

Safety Guidelines

Customers come from all over the world with a variety of cycling experiences. If you are riding in a group, here a few important safety points and group etiquette guidelines to remember:

• The guide will advise when the group should be one or two abreast

• When cycling two abreast, it is important to be in line (handlebar to handlebar) to the person next to you. This avoids overlapping wheels

• Always keep your eyes on the road ahead, even when chatting with the person next to you

• Keep to the right on the roads or on the shoulder if there is one. This allows cars and other cyclists to overtake safely

• The guide will be in the front leading the group on the descents, it is safer not to pass the guide. On the climbs, the guide will be in the back with the last person. The groups will meet at the top of the climb or suggested point before continuing

• You should announce "on your left" when passing other cyclists and it is important to never pass a cyclist on the inside

• It is important on descents to have a 2-3 bike lengths from the other cyclists. Avoid taking the corners too fast

• We encourage you to take photos, but safer to do it while standing still instead of while you are in a group cycling

• Ride smoothly and predictably. Keep yourself and everyone in your group safe!

Release of Liability

Signature Rides is not liable for bodily injury or property damage as a result of (but not limited to): physical exertion for which a cyclist is not prepared; forces of nature; collisions with bicycles, pedestrians, or automobiles; road conditions including but not limited to lack of shoulder and roadway surfaces affected by weather conditions; travel by bicycle, or foot; consumption of alcoholic beverages; civil unrest; terrorism; breakdown of equipment; high altitude; lack of or limited access to medical attention in remote locations or the adequacy of medical attention once provided. Signature Rides assumes no responsibility for any claims, damages, expenses or other financial loss to a person or property arising out of these inherent risks.

Limitations of Liability

Signature Rides is not liable for expenses that are not specified as included in the escapaade cost but may be required to get to or from a trip start or end. Signature Rides reserves the right to make route modifications as necessary to improve the quality of a trip or to accommodate the comfort and wellbeing of guests.

Miscellaneous

While Signature Rides makes every effort to ensure the accuracy of our publications, we cannot be held responsible for typographical or printing errors, including prices. Additionally, guests grant Signature Rides permission to take photographs or film recordings of trips for promotional and commercial use, without remuneration now or in the future. The guest agrees to assign all right, title, and interest they may have in or to any media in which their name or likeness might be used to Signature Rides. Guests agree that Signature Rides may use any testimonials regarding services rendered for promotional and/or commercial purposes without any remuneration now or in the future. Signature Rides' photography within this website is copyrighted by Signature Rides and may not be reproduced without permission.

Acceptance of these Conditions

These terms and conditions and all matters arising therefrom are subject to Spanish Law and to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Spanish courts.
